New hope for shorter TB treatment

South Africa leads the way. But this is not good :  South Africa is one of the countries with the highest burdens of TB in the world, but it also has leading doctors and health professionals researching TB.
New information indicates that with some adaptation in the production process of a drug called Pyrazinamide (which is one of the 4 drugs already used to cure TB), we may achieve a form of TB treatment that is effective AND won't require the usual 6 months to cure the TB. In fact, it may only require 2 months.
